Why do results appear in two phases?
The instant scan (<1s) checks everything we can from your HTML and headers. The deep scan (~18s) calls Google PageSpeed, Mozilla Observatory, Website Carbon, and SSL Labs for professional-grade scoring. You see useful results immediately while the APIs work.
What about checks marked "skip"?
A few checks need a real browser to evaluate — things like visual contrast and tap target sizing. We skip them honestly rather than faking results. Browser-powered checks are coming in Pro.
Is my data stored?
No. Nothing is stored. Each audit runs in a Cloudflare edge function and results go directly to your browser. We don't log URLs or results.
How is this free?
Cloudflare's edge network runs our code at near-zero cost. The external APIs we call (Google, Mozilla, etc.) have free tiers. We pass the savings to you.
How accurate is it?
Very. These checks come from the same QA checklist used by professional agency teams for production site launches. Failed checks include specific remediation guidance.
Privacy
Data: We store nothing. No URLs, no results, no cookies, no tracking pixels, and no user accounts. Each audit runs in a Cloudflare edge function at the network edge closest to you. Results are computed server-side and sent directly to your browser. When you close the tab, the data is gone.
Third parties: We use Google Fonts for typography, Google PageSpeed Insights for Lighthouse performance scoring, Mozilla Observatory for security posture grading, Website Carbon for sustainability metrics, and SSL Labs for certificate analysis. These services receive only the URL you submit for audit. None of them receive personal data, cookies, or identifying information about you.
Infrastructure: AlmostYour.Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. All traffic is served over HTTPS with HSTS, Content Security Policy, and strict referrer controls. We use no server-side databases, no analytics that track individual users, and no advertising networks.
